Uwanogho Has Given Us A Lifetime Opportunity With Skills Empowerment – Beneficiaries

 

NINETEEN skill acquisition graduate trainees, have commended their sponsor and benefactor, Olorogun Engr Anthony Omonefe Uwanogho for giving them a life time opportunity to become employer of labour.

 

The trainees, sponsored by Connect 2 Hope Foundation, chaired by Engr. Omonefe Anthony Uwanogho, graduated from the Delta State Vocational Education Center, Afiesere center in Ughelli North Local Government Area of Delta State.

Trained on different types of skills like, Welding/ Fabrication, ICT, Electrical, Hair Dressing/Makeover Fashion/Design, and Catering, they expressed gratitude to their sponsor for giving them a life time opportunity.

 

Speaking at the graduation ceremony held at the Afiesere centre, Olorogun Anthony Omonefe Uwanogho said, “Let me begin by expressing my deepest appreciation to the management, staff, and trainers of the Afiesere Skills Centre.

 

Represented by the Nigeria Acting Director of Connect2Hope, Mr Alex Obaro Ubiebor, said, “Your dedication, patience, and commitment to excellence have given our young men and women not just knowledge, but a future.

 

“To our graduating trainee, today is proof that with focus, discipline, and resilience, you can transform your lives.

 

According to to him, “What you have achieved is not just a certificate-it is the power to stand on your own feet, provide for your families, and contribute to the growth of our Ughelli community.

 

“At Connect2Hope, we are humbled to have played a small part in this journey by sponsoring you through this programme.

“But the journey does not end here, Skills need tools, Dreams need resources. To truly empower these graduates, we must equip them to take the next step-whether that is with sewing machines, barber kits, catering equipment, or other start-up tools.

 

“I appeal to individuals, organizations, and leaders of our community to partner with us to sustain these graduates and their families, and inspire the next set of indigene we plan to sponsor in the September intake.

 

“Together, we can transform our communities, build a stronger powerful and independent Urhobo Nation, one skill, one life, one family at a time.”

Commending their sponsor, the graduate trainees said, Olorogun Engr Omonefe Uwanogho has given us hope for today, tomorrow and the future by empowering us with different skills.

 

A graduate trainee sponsored by the Foundation in Welding and Fabrication, Mr Adutomare Oke Ambrose said, I want to on behalf of other departments to commend Olorogun Engr Omonefe Uwanogho for helping and sponsoring at skill acquisition training since January.

 

“Olorogun Omonefe has given us hope and for him to have sponsored all of us at different departments ranging from Welding, Catering, ICT, Electrical, Fashion/Design and Hairdressing/Makeover is a testament that he want a sane society of people with skills.

 

“As that was not enough, during this period of intensive training, he was giving us stipends to encourage us and currently he is set to give starter’s pack to all us that went through the training.

 

“Our appreciation to him, and ‘Connect2Hope foundation’ where hope never fails is that God should continue to empower him to do more for the society.

 

“We can now boldly say we are employers of labour because he has given to us what some political office holders could do for the people they represent.

 

On his part, the Administrator of the Afiesere Skills Acquisition Center, Mr Augustine Isahwe commended Olorogun Omonefe Uwanogho for sponsoring 20 persons for the six months program.

 

 

Know for his selflessness and philanthropist gesture, Olorogun Engr Omonefe Uwanogho has built a block of 8 toilet with modern facilities and borehole to Uduere primary and secondary schools.

 

He donated somo water pumps to, Abovwe, Uduere, Ujode in Ughelli North and other communities at Ethiope East local government areas.

 

 

Olorogun Omonefe Uwanogho through Connect2Hope Foundation, has on yearly basis paid for Jamb enrollment fees for students, presents , educational materials to both primary and secondary schools within and out Ughelli and Delta state.
